Learn to draw, or improve your drawing skills in the galleries of the AGO. Explore a variety of drawing techniques using original paintings, sculptures and installations in the AGO collections as starting points, Artist-instructors will demonstrate techniques and concepts and lead the group through exercises geared toward deepening your understanding of works of art and the evolution of imagery. Both new and repeat students are welcome. Each class wraps up in the Art Gallery of Ontario’s Galleria Italia cafe over drinks or gelato. Cash bar.
Bring your own supplies: An 11X14″ coil-bound sketchbook, a set of soft pencils (B through 9B, or one each of 2B, 4B, 6B, 8B), a knead-able eraser and a white vinyl eraser, a set of 24 watercolour pencils, a self-contained pencil sharpener.
