This class is ideal for the young student interested in the exploration and experimentation of different materials. Exposure to individual artists and art styles through history will also take place. Drawing, design, painting and sculpture will be covered, but special focus will be placed on experimenting with different printmaking techniques each term, such as relief, mono printing, silkscreen printing and collagraphs. Some projects will be a combination of materials and techniques to create a mixed media finished work. There will be some demonstration with ipad art as well. There will be a different theme each term to accommodate returning students.
