Curatorial Work
Consists of: Creating exhibition themes, promote call outs, select the artists in group /solo shows, curate, installation, create curatorial statement, press statements, promotion, posters, promote on social media.
2021- Now Curator of Neighbourhood Gallery. This consists of shows in three major spaces at Neighbourhood Unitarian Universalist Congregation at 310 Danforth Ave in Toronto. Sanctuary has 22 linear feet, tending to be 2-5 larger works from 3-5 feet wide. Gallery East has 80 linear feet. Gallery West has 80 linear feet. Both spaces are above the Sanctuary in a Mezzanine area. Some of the work can be viewed from the Sanctuary. As of September 2025, there will have been 14 solo shows and 9 group shows with a total of 40 people’s work represented.
2014 – 2020 Curator of Neighbourhood Gallery. This consisted of shows in three major spaces at Neighbourhood Unitarian Universalist Congregation at 79 Hiawatha Road in Toronto. Sanctuary held 50 linear feet, tending to be 10-12 larger works from 3-5 feet wide. Gallery North had 110 linear feet that was a liminal space, used to activate a hallway to youth room and washrooms. Gallery South had 122 linear feet also a liminal space to smaller sanctuary and children programming areas. Shows ran generally 10 weeks long, ranging from solo shows to large, themed group shows. Highlights were group shows for ART Heart Arts Centre, Art for Cancer Foundation, Youth shows, DAAG- Disability Awareness Art Group, and Contact Photography Festival. This space held 25 group shows and 24 solo shows with 263 people’s work represented.
